Why is “Free from animal- and human-derived ingredients” important?

Certain types of diseases and infections can be transferred from animals to humans or from humans to humans. Our refusal to have such sources eliminates these risks. Instead, we maintain the same alternative bio-sources used when manufacturing drugs.
